Maxis Prepaid Hotlink Card - Basic Charges

With Maxis' Hotlink you can call and SMS at the following rates
a. Local calls (between Maxis and Maxis Hotlink subscribers) - 33 sen per min
b. Local calls (other numbers) – 35 sen per min
c. MMS (send to Maxis and Maxis Hotlink subscribers) 25 sen , (others)50sen
d. Local SMS (to Maxis and Maxis Hotlink subscribers) - 7 sen, 15 sen to other networks
e. Local Data 0.5sen per kb off peak, 1 sen per kb peak
*For data, peak is from 7am - 12am, off-peak is from 12am - 7am

Hotlink Prepaid Card - How to register and use

How to register and what registration details are needed?

1. Go down any shop for example Maxis stores, convenience stores or shops.

2. Show your passport (foreigners/ tourists). Your particulars would be taken down to register you as the owner. It is a easy process – all on paper.

3. Select your lucky number

4. Insert SIM card into your unlocked GSM phone.

5. Call someone in Malaysia, or dial 122 to the Hotlink Menu to activate your hotlink card
